Calder in Block 110/7a of the East Irish Sea produces sour gas.

Calder was developed with an unmanned platform and three development wells. Gas is fed to a producing platform and then through a dedicated 49-kilometre, 24-inch pipeline to the Rivers Terminal at Barrow-in-Furness, which provides compression, hydrogen sulphide removal and metering. The four gas fields of Calder, Darwen, Crossans and Asland make up the Rivers development. Only the Calder field has been developed, but the others are due to follow contingent upon an economic development concept.
